At Retina Center of Texas, we will identify the right treatment for your condition:

Intravitreal Injection – Medication to treat retinal conditions can be delivered directly to the site of action by placing the medicine into the eye.
Laser Treatments – Different than laser vision correction, retinal laser procedures can be used to control bleeding or leaking blood vessels and prevent retinal detachments.
Pars Plana Vitrectomy – Damaged retinal tissue often needs repair by intraocular surgery using a Pars Plana Vitrectomy.
Scleral Buckle – Retinal detachments may need added support provided by supporting the wall of the eye with a scleral buckle
Cryotherapy – Freezing the retina with a nitrogen cooled probe can produce a powerful adhesive scar and aid in retinal detachment surgery.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) – Using advanced technology the retina can be imaged with OCT to evaluate the cross sectional structure and better evaluate disease
Fluorescein Angiogram (FA) – Dye is placed in the veins and photos taken during retinal circulation to evaluate the retinal blood supply and detect any abnormalities
B-scan Ultrasound – If no view to the retina is possible, then ultrasound imaging of the tissue can allow for earlier detection of retinal damage.
