Johnathan Warminski, M.D. is a fellowship-trained, board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous. With his surgical expertise, Dr. Warminski is highly skilled at performing the latest surgical techniques to repair retinal detachments, epiretinal membranes (macular puckers), macular holes, diabetic tractional detachments, and other vitreoretinal diseases. He also specializes in the medical treatment of age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular occlusions, uveitis, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Warminski is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, Texas Ophthalmological Association, Texas Medical Association, and Tarrant County Medical Association.
Dr. Warminski grew up in the small town of White Deer in the Texas Panhandle. During his childhood, working on the family farm, he learned the value of hard work and perseverance. After graduating from Texas Tech University Summa Cum Laude, he married his childhood sweetheart and moved to DFW for medical school and surgical training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. They have since been blessed with four children and have fallen in love with the area and the people of the metroplex.
Dr. Warminski is committed to the community he serves. He has been named “Top Doctor” by Fort Worth Magazine in 2021 and 2022. He has served in a leadership role on multiple committees for the Texas Medical Association. He strives to provide personal, respectful, and compassionate care for patients while treating their retinal disease.
On a personal note, Dr. Warminski enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and 4 children. He raises Texas Longhorn show cattle, farms, plays golf, likes to go fishing, and he is a Texas Rangers fan.
